It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia M. Parsons of Friendly, West Virginia, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Oliver Little and Wanda Little; her brothers, Oliver Little, Jr. and Herb McKinley; and her grandson Nick Parsons.

She is survived by : her husband John Parson; her sons, Mike Higgins (Karla) of Vincent, OH and John Higgins (Betty) of Belpre, OH; her stepchildren, Mike Parsons (Connie) of New Smyrna, FL, Bob Parsons (Celeste) of Barlow, OH and Becky Westbrook (Greg) of Williamstown, WV; her grandchildren, Dalton, Austin, Mathew, Michelle, Katie, Nathan, Neil, Isabella, Jay, Olivia, Cory, Chelsi, Colten, Caitlyn, Aaron, Bobby, John and Megan; her brother Clyde Little (Leslie); and her sister-in-law Mona Little. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
