She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Clonch and Gladys Faye Clonch (Pearson); her husband Robert E. Messick; and her sister Violet Cofer. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Stepp (Doug Byers) and Robert Messick (Julia) of Benzonia, Michigan; her grandchildren, Andrew Stepp, Trenton Messick, Ryan Messick (Camie) and Jordan Messick (Megan); her great grandchildren, Felix Ryan, Mina Jae and Eleanore Grace Messick; her sister Mary E. Dowell of Henderson; her niece Belinda Wymer (Jim) of Scott Depot; and her caregiver Ann Simpkins.
