She was predeceased by: her parents, Eunice Swain Lawlah and Robert Louis Lawlah of Gary; her husband William C. Long; her daughters, Katrina Louise Long Burke and Tammy Elaine Long; her siblings, Lula M. Reeves, Dennis M. Lawlah, Percy S. Swain and John W. Lawlah; and her nieces, Victoria Lawlah Sherman and Mary Swain (Doll).
She is survived by: her grandsons, William L. "Coty" Long and Dennis T. Long of Dunbar; and her great grandchildren, Jordan Ridley, Derick Long, Darius Long and Da'Kari Long. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rock Hill Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
