She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Lemon and Nellie Grace Lemon (Duffield); her husband John Bailey Carr; her children, James E. Carr and Cindy L. Carr; and her siblings, Don Lemon, A. Jeanette Barath, Paul "Buss" Lemon and Harry Lemon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie S. Carr and Dixie L. Carr-Heyn (Kurt); her grandchildren, Jake Carr (Erin), Ryan Carr (Kassi), Julie Carr and Ginny Carr; her great grandchildren, Zach, Emily, Jillian, Jenna, James Maverick, Fletcher, Zeke and Cadence; and her siblings, Carl "Dick" Lemon of Mogadore, Ben Lemon of Frametown, WV, Joy Veard of Amherst, Sally Skidmore of Gassaway, WV and Linda Boggs of Garrettsville, Ohio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
