He was predeceased by: his parents, Dana Everett Johnson and Edith Pearl Johnson (Woods); his son Buddy; his wife Kristy Dukas; his siblings, Joann James, Shirley Cogar, Greta Uldrich, Robert Wade Johnson and Bill Johnson; and his nephews, Robert Johnson and Scott Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Edith J and Dylan D. Johnson of Flatwoods; his brothers, Harold "Mike" Johnson (Linda), Thomas Johnson (Jeanette) and Larry Johnson; his nephew Bobby James; his cousin Linda Brown; and his fur-grandbabies, Wally and Garl. He is also survived by fifty nieces and nephews.
