She was predeceased by : her sister Shirley Lemon; her parents, Darrell "Thomp" Thompson and Sara Marie Metz Thompson; her siblings, Bill Thompson, Chip Thompson and Pat Whitesel; and her grandson Ethen Tyler Flint.

She is survived by : her daughters, Shawn Darnold (Scott) of Kenna, WV and Melinda Flint (Rob) of Centralia, WV; and her siblings, Fred Thompson, Mike Thompson and Karen Woods. She is also survived by grandchildren.
