The memory of William Edward Morlan of Gassaway, West Virginia, who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 64, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his father Orville Edward Morlan (Jack). He is survived by: his mother Sharon Joye Morlan of Owosso; his wife Bronlynn; his children, Bryson Morlan (Leandra) of Vienna, Jarren Morlan (Courtney) of Mount Lookout, Tyler Morlan (Nicole) of Gassaway, Kenton Morlan (Ashley) of Sutton, Logan Morlan (Contessa) of Little Birch and Staci Gerwig (Brian) of Frametown; his grandchildren, Bentley, Reed, Eliora, Owen, Cora, Rhett, Beckett, Kylie, Micah, Clinton, Aliyah, Jaxon, Juniper, Callan and Hazel; his siblings, Sherry Okenka (Tim) of Washington, Jacque Morlan of Albion, Michigan and John Morlan (Carol) of Rochester Hills, Michigan; his mother-in-law Helen Mellquist; and his sisters-in-law, Koreen Villers (Jon) of Shady Spring and Danyl Freeman (Rick) of Moorefield. He is also survived by five nieces, six nephews, and eight great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gassaway Baptist Church (56 Beall Dr, Gassaway, WV 26624). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hazelgreen Cemetery.
