He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Bird; his children, Letha Wilkinson (Jerry), Jason Bird (Andrea), Jeremiah Bird (Scott Samples) and Crystal Craze (Nick); his sister Shelia Jones (Mike); his grandchildren, Evie Bird, Jaycie Bird, Tara Bird, Savannah James, Dakota James, Ryder James, Emily Armes (Michael), Sylvia Wilkinson, Harmony Craze and Roman Craze; and his great grandchildren, Owen Wilkinson and Emmett Wilkinson. He is also survived by his family, his friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pennington Smith Funeral Home (331 Main St, Gauley Bridge, WV 25085). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pond Gap Advent Christian Church (6533 Bell Creek Rd, Pond Gap, WV 25160).
