With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Asbury of Gauley Bridge, West Virginia, who passed away on September 14, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Mary Neal; his son Walter Asbury Jr.; and his stepdaughter Fadra Johnston. He is survived by : his wife Ella McMillion Asbury; his children, Phyllis Asbury of New Haven and Sarha Johnson of Reedy; his stepchildren, Bryn McMillion of Gauley Bridge and Bill Johnston of Ashboro, NC; and his sister Donna Gunnoe of Dixie. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
