He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde B. Nutter and Hattie M. Asbury Nutter; his wife Sharon Nutter; and his siblings, Cletus Nutter, Charles Nutter, Carl Nutter, Johnny Asbury, Phyllis Sampson and BettyLou Martin.
He is survived by: his daughter Emily Casto (Bobby) of Gay; his grandchildren, Wesley Nutter (Andrea) of Barboursville, Morgan Casto (Nick Jeffries) of Gay and Megan Casto (Jeremiha Witt) of Ripley; his great grandchild Athena Grace Nutter of Barboursville; his sisters, Viola Downs of Spencer and Virginia Lyons of Eastlake, Ohio; and his pet Pumpkin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jackson County Memory Gardens (9149 Ripley Rd, Cottageville, WV 25239).
