She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Rhodes and Linda Rhodes (Casto). She is survived by: her children, J. R. Abels (Nikki), Jeremy Abels and Amanda Vannest; her siblings, Cindy Casto, James Rhodes and Connie Rhodes; her grandchildren, Austin Ryan Vannest, Kimber Lee Abels and Jaxon Derek Smith; her close friend Ronnie Harper; and her pet Rocky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
