He was predeceased by : his father Charles Ellis; and his brothers, Charles "Bug" Ellis, Jr. and Terry Ellis. He is survived by : his brother Charles Britt; his sister-in-law Lisa Ellis; his children, David Heath Ellis of Hanover, Ashley Mullins (Lloyd) of Tamcliffe, Shelley Shepherd (Casey) of Lexington and Linsey Kidd (Justin) of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; his sister Sherry Britt of Sprattsville; and his sister-in-law Jennifer Ellis of Lugoff. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
