He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackie "Jack" Coogan Ellis and Delilah Cline Ellis; his brother Jeffrey Keith Ellis; and his grandparents, Ott, Allie Cline, Alex and Hazel Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Jean Simpson; his daughters, Rebekah Cline (Anson) of Teays Valley, WV and Candice Stacy (Ronnie) of Gilbert, WV; his grandchildren, Jaclyn, Kendall Stacy, Kiara Cline and Isaac Cline; his in-laws, Leonard and Jean Simpson; and his aunt Dimple Kay Voigt (Jeanna Bradford).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel Mounts Funeral Home (253 4th Ave, Gilbert, WV 25621). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
