It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavone Morrison of Gilbert, West Virginia, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hunt and Merlie Riffe Hunt; and her brother Delano Hunt. She is survived by: her husband Allen Morrison of Gilbert; her children, Michael Morrison (Jessica) of Gilbert and Amy Lynn Morrison of Gilbert; her siblings, Bobby Hunt of Logan, Bonnie Kenneda of North Carolina and Lynn Lambert of Ikes Fork; her grandchildren, Briley Morrison of Gilbert, Hailey Brown (Caleb) of Cub Creek and Hollie Morrison of Gilbert; and her great grandchildren, Addison and Easton Brown.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fanning Funeral Home (4299 Coal Heritage Rd, Iaeger, WV 24844). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
