She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Kovach Sr. and Wilma Kovach (Brown); her husband Jessie James Stevens; her daughter Sharon Kay Morgan; and her siblings, Elizabeth Holcomb (Eleanor), Margaret Ann Jewell, Steve Kovach, Jr., George Kovach (Mickey), Frank Edward Kovach and Johnny Lee Kovach.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Russell Lester (Betty) of Gilbert, WV, Barbara Lynn Gordon (William) of Gilbert, WV and Linda Sue LeFevers (Rodney) of North Spring, WV; and her siblings, Billy Ray Kovach, Thomas Darrell Kovach and Brenda Kay Kovach. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel Mounts Funeral Home (253 4th Ave, Gilbert, WV 25621). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
