She was predeceased by: her father Lee Carter; her husband LeeRoy Thompson; and her siblings, Essie Harris, Vicie Collins, Louisa Cresong, Thelma Blankenship, Pansy Belcher, Cora Carter, Ballard Carter, Turley Kelly Carter and Glen Carter.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Jones (Jimmy) of Princeton, WV; her grandchildren, Tanner Jones of Martinsburg, WV and Allison Jones of Princeton, WV.; and her brother Rush Carter of Gilbert, WV. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
