He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl F. Lucas and Inez C. McAllister Lucas; his wife Mie H. Lucas; and his siblings, Carl Lee, Frank, Keith, Lindell, Gary, Alvin, Kenneth, William Satterfield, Joyce Stalvey and Hilda West.
He is survived by: his children, David Lucas (Denise), Karen Lucas and Barbara Vinson (Roger); his grandchildren, Denise Mie Lucas, Katherine Lucas and David Lucas; his great grandchild Eli Muai; and his siblings, Violet Austin, Kay Comer (Man), Naomi Foley, Jean Sublett and Yvonne Loker.
