He is survived by: his children, Thomas Brown of Colorado Springs, CO and Debra Kennedy of Charlotte, NC; and his grandchildren, Alexis Thompson of Winston Salem, NC, Austin Kennedy of Charlotte, NC and Franklin Brown of Portland, OR. He is also survived by three great, grandchildren.
