It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma J. Schoene in Glen Dale, West Virginia, born in Wellsburg, West Virginia, who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, August Alexander and Leona Alexander (Miller); her husband Richard J. Schoene; her siblings, Anna Mae Palmer and Ronnie L. Alexander; and her great grandchild Joseph Aikins.
She is survived by: her children, Larry L. Schoene (Monika) of North Carolina, Richard J. Schoene II (Robin) of Glen Dale, WV, Michael W. Schoene of Cameron, WV and Dr. Elizabeth S. Roberson (Walter) of Florida; her sisters, Charlene LeMasters of Wellsburg, WV, Dorothy Craft of Wellsburg, WV, Wanda Bennett of Martins Ferry, OH, Nancy Postle of Jeanette, PA, Linda Greathouse (Sam) of Beech Bottom, WV and Beverly Lowe (Bob) of Follansbee, WV; and her sister-in-law Norma Jean Henderson of Benwood, WV.. She is also survived by three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
