She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Richardson and Norma Richardson of Maple Meadow; her siblings, Donald, Eddie, Delmar, Larry, Opal Richardson Birchfield and Freeda Carothers; her children, Susan Darlene Covey and Jimmy Covey; and her grandson Derek Covey.
She is survived by: her brother Troy Richardson (Tressie); her sons, Roy Covey (Christine Lilly) and Dairen Covey (Jennifer); her daughters-in-law, Vicki and Connie Canterbury; her nephews, David Carothers (Patricia) and Kevin Richardson (Tammy); her grandchildren, Cassie, John (Opie), Rebecca, Michael (Mikey), Jessica (Cory), Lora, Joseph and Tommy; and her great grandchildren, Allyson, Avah, Brody, Caylee, Cooper, Crystal, Gracie, Joey, Jon, Jonah, Kasey, Kelsey, Michael, Molly, Noah, Sunny Day (Miranda), Raegan and Tanner.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Melton Mortuary (1200 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801).
