He is survived by: his children, Leonard Clay II (Katherine) of Palm Coast, FL, Angela Clay of Beckley and Leah-Ann Schmid (Robert III) of White Oak; his grandchildren, Aaron (Erica Clay) of Palm Coast, FL, Lacie Clay of Palm Coast, FL, Robert Schmid IV of White Oak, Caleb of White Oak and Abigail Schmid of White Oak; his great grandchild Aidan Clay of Palm Coast, FL; his sister Nancy Clay Gentry (David) of Beckley; his niece Lori Knight of Glen Daniel; and his close friend Lou Reid.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Amos E. Quesenberry Funeral Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home (1901 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
