She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Barber and Mabel Burleson Barber; her husband Franklin; and her siblings, Jimmy Griffith, Bill Barber, Mary Richardson and Ella Mae Carter.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim Day (Linda) and John Day; and her siblings, Sheila Hurst (Randy), Charlotte Scott (Ken), Daisey Bryson (Rick), Sada Barthold, Doug Barber (Avis) and Marvin Barber (Lynn). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
