He is survived by: his children, Debra Bee (Robbie) of Glenville, David Hess (Lisa) of Inwood, WV, John Hess (Lisa) of Sand Fork, WV and Mary Gray (James Burkett) of Martinsburg, WV; his sister Dorthy Elizabeth Starkey of Kansas; and his grandchildren, Autumn Hess, Seth Gray, Ian Gray, Kolby Gray, Trenton Taylor, Adriana Athey, Isaiah Taylor, Landon Athey and Lucas Athey.
