He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Verle and Verna Sams Crews; his former wife Carol Antey Parsons; his wife June Lovis Crews; and his siblings, David Crews, Eleanor Perkins, George Crews, Vernon and Jesse Crews.
He is survived by: his brother Samuel Crews (Jocelyne). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
