She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nery and Edna Glaspell Nery; her husband Leeland Thompson; her son Nicholas Thompson; and her sister Sarah Sue Steele.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Carol Hinton; her niece Maryanne Goodwin (Thomas); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Noel and Chloe; her nephew Westley Hinton (Leslie); and her great-nieces, Audrey and Ann.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bartlett Funeral Home (202 Mc Graw Ave, Grafton, WV 26354). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
