He is survived by: his daughter Maya Mier-Thomas; his friend Jacqueline Mier; his sister-in-law Renee Thomas; his nieces, Ashley Godfrey, Jennifer Thomas, Teresa Barton and Dawn Rogers; his pets, Koda, Lacie, Felix, Herbie, Peaches and Millie; his siblings, Kitty McCarter and Freddie Thomas (Foot); and his pet Ace.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Virginia National Cemetery (42 Veterans Memorial Ln, Grafton, WV 26354).
