He was predeceased by : his parents, D. A. "Dela" Beavers and Grace Pitzer Beavers; and his siblings, John, Lewis, Myrtle, Della, Lugene and Evelyn.

He is survived by : his significant other Anna Shumaker Beavers; and his children, Darrell Beavers, Jr. Grafton (Virginia), Delores Lee Myers Grafton (Allen) and Barbara Sue Smith Bridgeport (Henry). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, one brother.
