It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Downey Jr. of Grafton, West Virginia, who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Bill Conrad; his children, Chadwick Conrad (Artina) and Brooke Lanham; and his grandsons, Evan Conrad, Tyler Conrad and Jaxon Lanham.
He is survived by: his wife Shelley Mae Conrad Downey; his siblings, Shane Downey (Karla) and Leann Colston; his mother-in-law Zita Conrad; his siblings-in-law, Bill Conrad Jr. (Bonnie), Marty Conrad (Lori) and Brandy Wildman; and his extended family, Andy, Amber Hartsell, Carter Hartsell, Jacob Jones and Mike Wildman. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bartlett Funeral Home (202 Mc Graw Ave, Grafton, WV 26354). Visitation was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
