He was predeceased by: his mother Della Ann Knotts (Dalton) of Grafton; his grandparents, Charles Edward "Ed", Joan Dalton, Loren Arnold and Erma Dolly Knotts; and his mother-in-law Rebecca Cunningham.
He is survived by: his father Loren Lee Knotts; his children, Loren Lee Knotts III of Grafton, Alexandra Rebecca Knotts of Elizabeth City, NC and Samuel Dean Knotts of Elizabeth City, NC; the mother of his children Sonya G. Knotts of Elizabeth City, NC; his father-in-law Ronald Cunningham of Linthicum, MD; and his pet Axel. He is also survived by numerous extended family, friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Taylor County Humane Society PO Box 243 Grafton, WV 26354.
