He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Rooster" Moore and Eleanor Mahaney Moore; his son Joshua Allen Moore; his grandparents, Ralph, Edith Moore, Leslie and Ethel Mahaney; his sister Cindy L. Moore Phillips; his mother-in-law Dottie Lou Brown; and his nephew Connor Douglas Poling.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Brown Moore; his children, Angela Moore Cline and Richard Moore II; his grandchildren, Owen Smith, Shyanne Smith, Savannah Moore, Jaxen Moore, Autumn Moore, Aleigh Moore and Ryleigh Moore; his father-in-law Philip Brown; his siblings-in-law, Philip Keith Brown (Kim) and Jennifer Brown Poling (Gary); and his nieces and nephews, Justine Brown, Whitney Poling Dillon (Cody), Sarah Brown, Ashnee Patel, Laken Dillon, Paisley Dillon, Brandy Miller, Melissa Schiffbauer, Andrew Schiffbauer and Joseph Hess. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bartlett Funeral Home (202 Mc Graw Ave, Grafton, WV 26354). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
