Stacy Platter Obituary

Stacy R. Platter, age 56, a resident of Grafton, WV., passed away Friday, July 31, 2026 at her home. She had been in declining health; however, her passing was unexpected. She was born on December 11, 1969, in Baltimore, MD., a daughter of the late Roger Platter and June (Carnute) Platter. She leaves behind her best friend and finance Dave Farance who survives at their home. Stacy is survived by two nieces; Erica Platter of Grafton, and Kayla Wilson of Charleston, WV., a great niece; Kendylan Platter. Preceding her in death besides her parents was brother; Mark Thompson, and a sister; Lisa Wilson. Stacy was a Christian by faith, attended the schools of Taylor County and graduated from Grafton High School, she was a driver for Mountain State Auto Auction. Stacy watched TV, enjoyed being on social media sites Facebook, and TikTok was her favorite. She loved all animals, but cats was her pick, she loved to plant flowers especially Tiger Lilies. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering strength will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
