Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Hurley Homer Simmons (Hacker Valley, West Virginia), who passed away at the age of 96, on May 11, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Simmons and Leafie Lizzie Fisher Simmons; his wife Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Skidmore Simmons; his siblings, Millard Simmons, Betty Mader and Sherley Wentz; and his son-in-law Kerry Manning Pack.
He is survived by: his children, John Edward Simmons (Renay), Donna Ann Bodenmiller (Tim) and Lisa Carol Simmons Pack. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Long Run Community Church (675 Cowger Hill Rd, Hacker Valley, WV 26222). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
