He is survived by: his wife Myrna Browning (Christian); his children, Larae Matheny (Bobby) of Hanover, WV, Jerry "Allen" Browning (Nicole) of Indian Creek, WV and Chad Browning (Charlotte) of Bland, VA; his grandchildren, Erica Cline (Gentry), Morgan Cline (Jeremy), Braxton Matheny, Miranda Matheny, Garrett Matheny, Wesley Browning (Whittney), Emma Rae Browning, Jayden Browning, Becca Ball (Andy) and Caegin Browning; his great grandchildren, McKinzey (Matt), Gavin, Ethan, Robbie, Carson, Maddox, Maysen, Oakleigh, Blakely, Neyland, Teagan, Colt and Lennix; his great great grandchildren, Rowan, Kamryn and Silas; his siblings, Ora Browning of Hanover, WV, Linda Cook of Hanover, WV and Lorraine Lusk of Oceana, WV; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Jean Browning of Mohawk, WV and Teddy Riffe of Pineville, WV.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel Mounts Funeral Home (253 4th Ave, Gilbert, WV 25621). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at the Walker Cemetery.
