She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Strow and Carl Wilbur Lawson; her grandson Isaac Addison Burch; and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Sneed, Caroline McDaniel, Carmella Baldwin, Gloria Cobb, Sallie Turner and James Recco.
She is survived by: her husband William Recco; her children, Rebecca Recco (Isaac Emrick) of Oakland, California and Richard Recco (Ashley) of Nitro; her sisters, Ruth Legg of Garden City, Becky Hackney of Malden and Mary Robinson of St. Petersburg, Florida; and her grandchildren, Joseph Burch of Oakland, Olivia Burch of Charleston, Jonathan Burch of Spencer, Kaylee of Nitro, Sarah Thornhill of Nitro, Adalyn of Nitro, Landon of Nitro, Evelyn Recco of Nitro and Kelan Emrick of Everett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (1203 Center St, Hansford, WV 25103).
