It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alma Jean Danner of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wilt and Rosie Anna Mason Wilt; her husband John; and her son Terry Danner. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Wilson (Bill) of Harpers Ferry, WV and Candy DeRonda (John) of Charles Town, WV; and her grandchildren, Tara Carr, Lea Cooper, Matt Wilson, Elizabeth Holmes, Tony DeRonda and Emily Hosby. She is also survived by 10 Great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home (256 Halltown Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith and Friends Global Methodist Church.
