He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Adams (Coy) and Iva Gay Stout Adams; his wife Myrna Wright Adams; and his siblings, Cecil Adams, Eugene Adams, Charles Adams, Joe Adams, Retha Adams, Ruth Adams Pierce, Opal Adams-Young and Beatrice Adams Urban.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth Adams (Paulette), Carol Adams Jones and Joan Adams Brace. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
