She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Wurtzler and Walter Wurtzler. She is survived by: her children, Karen (Stephen Strickland), Erik (Carol Syvrud), Knute (Patricia Syvrud) and Liv (Michael Violette); her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jake Terrell), Matthew Strickland (Doherty), Samuel Violette (Lacey Russ), Kelsey Syvrud, Haley Syvrud, Leila Violette, Patrick (Sharon Strickland), Amy Syvrud, Tor Syvrud (Rachel Henderson) and Katherine Strickland (Jacob Feldgoise); Charlotte Terrell and Bodhi Syvrud.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Hills Community Center (11762 Harpers Ferry Rd, Purcellville, VA 20132).
