Franklin Gene Runion Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 17, 2025, at the age of 60, Franklin Gene Runion (Harpers Ferry, West Virginia), born in Harrisonburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Franklin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Franklin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Runion and Janet Runion; and his brother Edward "Pete" Runion. He is survived by: his siblings, James "Peanut" Runion (Barbara), Thomas "Tommy" Runion, Warren "Buck" Runion and Catherine "Cathy" Stanhope (Gary). He is also survived by two nieces and three nephews; and three great-nephews and two great-nieces.
