With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Thomas Purdy (Harpers Ferry, West Virginia), who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Purdy and Clare Purdy (Cody); and his siblings, Jeannine Wolf, Bill and Mike.
He is survived by: his significant other Louise Virginia Marchese; his children, Mark, Noelle (Scott Nestlebush), John (Anna), Matt (Kristen Gillan) and Megan (Kevin Bowman); and his grandchildren, Owen, Madison, Ashley, Baxter, Ava, Lucy, Catherine, Lizzy, Victoria and Ally.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Harvest Point Community Church's Reach 360 fund, @ https://hpcc.com. , which supports H.P.C.C.'s building fund, global missions, and church planting ministries.
