Though John Duane may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn Smith; and his parents, Stanley LiCalzi and June LiCalzi. He is survived by: his children, John Austin Smith, Veronica Smith and Devena Heavner (Ross); and his siblings, Kenny Smith, Steve Smith and Kim Fox.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home (256 Halltown Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425).
