He is survived by: his children, Jenny Lynn Garnand of Mount Airy, MD and Ronald Ivan Carper, Jr.; his grandchild Ryan Carper (family: Cory Carper); his sisters, Marlene Crook and Cherry Daniel; his daughter-in-law Shelley Broussard; his sister-in-law Glenda Hallman; his siblings' children, Lorena Suprata, Linda Batleman, Susan Lanning and John Hallman; and his close friend Fred McNeil.
