He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard Ott and Cora Ott; his grandson D. J. Haines; and his siblings, Wilhemina Mennor, Evelyn Rountree, Mary Louise Anders and John "Jack" Ott.
He is survived by : his children, Sharon Esswein (Lonnie) of Martinsburg, WV, Michael Ott (Vicki) of Charles Town, WV, Larry Ott (Tonya) of Halltown, WV and Stephen Ott (Cheryl) of Winchester, VA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
