He is survived by: his brother Nathan Jay Hartness of Parkersburg, WV; his uncle Thomas Morrison of Lowell, OH; and his aunts, Laveda Marshall of Petroleum, WV, Bessie Cornell of Cairo, WV and Rose Lee of Petroleum, WV. He is also survived by several cousins, many close friends.
