We announce the death of Christopher Mullins of Harts, West Virginia, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 63. Christopher will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chalmon Mullins and Ethel Sue Lambert Mullins; his wife Christina Maynard Mullins; his grandparents, William Creed Mullins, Nora Hargis Mullins, Layfette Lambert and Ada Lambert; and his parents-in-law, Homer Maynard and Verdie Farley.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Maynard, Lucille Johnson (Troy), Chalmon Mullins, Brian Maynard (Steph Belcher) and Lowell Farley; his sisters, Kathy Sinnett (Mike), Amy Maynard (Herman), Jennifer Vance (Milton), Evelyn Lambert (Reed) and Elizabeth Beckett; Bethel Purkey and Jan Richards. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (220 Main St, Chapmanville, WV 25508). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Freeman Funeral Home to help with arrangements.
