It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carroll Dean McDonald Sr. of Hedgesville, West Virginia, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Ernest McDonald and Dorothy Vivian McDonald (Pitzer); and his siblings, James Kenneth McDonald, William D. McDonald, Ernest F. McDonald and Johanna McDonald.

He is survived by : his wife Trilby Marie McDonald (Smith); his children, C. Dean McDonald, Jr. (Beverly) and Robin F. Stevens; and his siblings, Stewart McDonald (Willa) and Alice E. Cogle (Jerry). He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital or a Charity of your choice.
