We announce the death of David G. Shaffer of Hedgesville, West Virginia, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his mother Nellie Shaffer (Gaumer); and his brothers, James C. and Gregory C. Shaffer. He is survived by: his wife Julie Shaffer (Humbertson); his children, Kristia Bard (Brian), Saira Campbell (Garrett) and David T. Shaffer; and his brother Robert C. Shaffer. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
