With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Gosnell of Hedgesville, West Virginia, who passed away on February 19, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George "Hap" Rhoe and Imogene Faye Plotner Rhoe; her husband Curtis Garland Gosnell; and her granddaughter Deborah Lynn Lentz. She is survived by: her children, Cassi Hessler (Charles Lee), Deanna Thomas (Danny), Betty Kane (Thomas LeFevre) and Curt Gosnell (Amy); her grandchildren, Danielle Buck, Kyle Hessler, Levi Silver, Brooke Hessler, Ashley Umphrey, Ryan Gosnell, Kaitlyn Hessler and Tori Kane; and her siblings, Sharron Burkhart and Greg Rhoe (Kim) of Hedgesville.
