It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Basore of Hedgesville, West Virginia, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy D. Wood, Sr. and Rosa Lee Hess Wood; and her siblings, Walter Wood, Cathy Young and Elizabeth "Ann" Beall.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Basore, Jr.; her children, David Wood and Tammy Rubin (Tom); her grandsons, Corey Rubin and Sheldon Wood; her great grandchild Adelina Rubin; and her siblings, Roy Wood, Jr., Ricky Wood (Shelly), Larry Wood, Patty Passmore (Jeff), Mary Shackelford, Frances Orr (Steve) and Nancy Wood. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
