The memory of John Ellison Jr. of Henlawson, West Virginia, who passed away on August 14, 2025 at the age of 51, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ellison, Sr. and Zona Marie Blankenship Ellison; his sisters, Michelle E. Huneycutt and Debbie Yarborough; and his aunt Peggy B. Mayhorn.
He is survived by: his children, John Ellison III and Kayla Ellison (Alex Stone) of Lexington; his sister Tammy Ferrell of Asheboro; his aunts and uncles, Tom Mayhorn, Nona, Richard Vinson and Lisha Spry; and his grandchildren, Garrett Ellison, Madalyn Loflin, Paisyn Stone, Hartlyn Stone and Chandler Stone. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to help with John's final expenses as well as the American Heart Association and the National Kidney Foundation.
