He is survived by: his stepfather Rodman Ellis Wells; his wife Barbara; his children, Mark Wells (Tara) and Kimberly Seelinger (Doug); his grandchildren, Kaitlin Coles (Matt), Jessica Slater (Austin), Allison Ryan (Mitchell), Emily Wallace (Nathan), Lauren Richards (Isaac), Caleb Wells, Jennifer Seelinger, Hannah Wells, Benjamin Seelinger, Joshua Wells, Kristen Seelinger, Gabriel Wells, Rachel Wells, Kayleigh Wells, Luke Wells and Jessalyn Wells; his great grandchildren, John "Jack" Coles, Eleanor Coles, Brooks Slater, Evelyn Slater, Hazel Richards and Elijah Wallace; and his nieces, Candi Greer and Sunny Gay Ploch of Florida. He is also survived by many brother and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews.
